What is left from Xmas chocolates?

Red paper beads on black linen cord. Yesterday I found the linen cord in textile shop. It inspired me. This is my first work. Others are on their way. Beads are from hard board of very nice chocolates - Christmas present. Two in one - first sweets and then sweet beads.

Now is time for beads. Many useful packages, mostly sweets, with a nice ending.

Just some of my latest works. I really like brown beads on purple string. They look very nice with some brown or purple top.

Recycled is beautiful

Have you ever wondered where the jewelry you are buying in a popular fashion store comes from. How many CO2 was produced to deliver the thing from producer in China or India to your shop? I can assure you - many.  So my thought for today is DIY. Just use anything you have around you and make your only, unique bracelet, pendant or earing. It'a a lot of fun. Try it.
